Why does everyone love a Winter / Spring hair transplant?
With Winter nearly over and Spring just around the corner, we want to share why this season is ideal for your hair transplant straight from the Horse’s mouth. We asked a bank of 30 patients why they chose Winter or Spring surgery and these were the top 10 answers.
- I’m not going out as much as it’s too cold, so just thought I’d get it done now! – Alex (HQ says – Well why not!)
- I have a holiday and a wedding in the summer, I know it takes about 6 months to start looking great so I planned ahead for a change’ – Lee (HQ says – 6 months is a good marker as about 60% upwards of all the hairs have come through so it starts to look really good!)
- I have work leave that I had to use before April, so booked my time off and booked my hair transplant at the same time. – Patrick (HQ says – Rather use it than lose it….forgive the hair pun!)
- I don’t have to worry about the sun or sweating. – George (HQ says – Bit of a myth but we do ask you not to wear hats or caps / do too much exercise for 2 weeks after surgery.)
- I have so many parties lined up this summer. – Leo (student 😃) (HQ says – Where’s our invite!)
- Doesn’t the cold weather speed up the healing – Tanya (HQ says – Whilst low temperatures can certainly help a little with swelling and sweating, these are not particularly big issues around the transplant but we liked her thinking)
- I play a lot of sports in the summer and I don’t want to cause any damage while it heals. – Ahmed (HQ says – This is certainly a good point, you can’t knock your head or play heavy contact sports after the surgery for at least a month, chat to us about the guidelines for your specific sports – ⚽ You can get back to playing most sports in 2/3 Weeks! ⚽)
- I was just so bored this winter and kept looking in the mirror and looking at ‘before and after’ pics and then one of my mates got it done; So I just thought right it’s time and just went for it! – Steve (HQ says – Boredom and Fomo is real for you disbelievers, we can’t tell you how many people put this off and then come back a year later saying why didn’t I just get it done the first time!)
- I’m a teacher and I can only do this during half term, Easter or Summer holidays. So the February half term was perfect for me. – Lucy (HQ says – We understand teachers need a quick recovery to confidently return to work. Our leading aftercare ensures you can be back in the classroom in just 1 week. Our skilled team ensures a smooth healing process, allowing you to make the most of your limited time off. School holidays particularly Easter and half terms book up quickly.)
- I saw you had a 0% finance offer ending soon and I don’t have a huge amount of funds at the moment so jumped at the chance. – David (HQ says – Yes we can do finance over 2 years if needed so you can spread the costs)
