Dr Raman Graduated first in Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London and then his medical degree at Keele University School of Medicine and has worked in multiple surgical and medical specialities since, including cardiothoracic surgery, general and vascular surgery, acute medicine, emergency medicine, and psychiatry. This broad experience has given him a strong foundation in surgical precision, patient care, and clinical management.
Dr Rahman specialises in surgical and non-surgical hair restoration techniques Including both FUT & FUE transplants having completed his ISHRS Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr Humayoun Mohmand, a leading figure in the field and one of only 10 Directors of the society. He focuses on achieving natural-looking, long-term results while maintaining ethical standards in hair restoration surgery. He is committed to adhering to ISHRS protocols, ensuring his practice follows the highest standards of safety, patient care, and surgical excellence in hair transplantation.
In addition to surgical procedures, Dr Rahman has a strong interest in non-surgical hair restoration therapies, including stem cell transplantation, exosome therapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. He actively explores advancements in the field to provide comprehensive hair loss treatment options. He also has a research interest, particularly in the evolving field of regenerative medicine and its applications in hair restoration. By staying engaged in clinical research, he aims to contribute to developing innovative techniques and evidence-based treatments that improve patient outcomes. His approach to hair restoration prioritises patient education, informed decision-making, and evidence-based treatments.
Dr Rahman is available for consultations via video call for long distance patients or in person at the Cardiff Clinic.
Dr Rahman is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Registration Number 7912303. Dr Rahman has successfully completed the practical portion of his ISHRS membership while he awaits for full membership to be approved.

Dr Shah is an MBBS graduate from St George’s Hospital Medical School, University of London. He has been practising as a doctor within the NHS for the past five years. His interest in hair loss and restoration developed early in his medical career, leading him to train under DHI at the London Hair Restoration Academy. Since then, he has worked at leading clinics on Harley Street and across the UK, developing his expertise in advanced hair restoration techniques.
